What are the goals of the C/FST?

Our goal is to gather information regarding services received by consumers and family members to assess their satisfaction with mental health and drug and alcohol services. With a deep respect for each consumer's rights and dignity, we will report consumer satisfaction to the proper authorities to help consumers live life to the fullest.1. The C/FST will establish and maintain relationships with consumers.2. The C/FST will create opportunities for consumers to assert their concerns in a safe, nonjudgmental and confidential environment.3. The C/FST will act as the liaison between the consumers and the behavioral health service providers.4. The C/FST will empower consumers to become involved in their own treatment.

What does the C/FST offer service providers?

By interacting with the consumers of behavioral health services directly and acting s a neutral third party, the C/FST is able to provide a shield of anonymity to clients and collect unfiltered, honest information about the services they receive.Monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports help track participation, trends, and identify the strengths and weaknesses of services, directly from the consumers themselves. Reports from the C/FST can help highlight areas of excellence and identify areas requiring reinforcement within the programs a service provider offers, as well as ways to further support consumers by identifying their needs within their communities.
